Starting near the village of Foros da Pereira (next to the EN390), the challenge begins towards one of the most beautiful spots in the municipality, hidden by the geography of the area: Rocha de Água d’Alto. This place is a natural “wall” of rock, about 20 metres high, which, when it rains heavily, becomes a large natural waterfall.

Following a small stream and leaving the area of ​​eucalyptus and montado, you will find the village of Foros do Freixial. Heading south, cross the Ponte de Vila Nova de Milfontes, where you can enjoy the view of the Serra de S. Luís and Serra do Cercal (to the west), and the mouth of the River Mira (to the east).

Following rural roads, you will reach the village of Longueira, a town located between the plain and the sea, where you can admire the Windmill. The next few kilometres will also be covered on rural roads, next to some properties where Limousine cattle are raised.
