    Flavours of Alentejo Coast

In 1826, Herdade do Touril was born as a farm.

Generations in the same family have dedicated themselves to agriculture and pastoralism.

From this was born our love for what the land gives us, the authenticity of the flavors of the region, the quality of the products that we have always cultivated.

However, only in 2002 Herdade do Touril would open its doors and receive guests.

The project grew slowly and surely – in Alentejo we are alchemists of the art of time – until it acquired its current configuration.


And to this passion for the land was added the passion for the sea of José Ramos Cardoso, from Tasca do Celso. From there we got the mastery to work the products of our vegetable garden and the traditional Alentejo snacks.

And so the Touril & Celso – Sabores da Costa Alentejana restaurant was born, a way for us to express our love for this region and its ingredients, but also to welcome you.

Our menu is not a menu, it’s an invitation to discover new flavors and others that we only find in memories of our grandparents’ lunches at home.
