Almograve Beach – Herdade do Touril

Located in the path of Almograve and  Touril, more specifically in Cabo Sardão, which is one of the major attractions of the Rota Vicentina fauna’s: in the high cliffs that plunge abruptly into the sea, we can find the famous storks nestings. But they are not alone;  these majestic birds steal the role to  more than twenty other species that choose the same cliffs to their habitat.

But not only birds live in this stage of Rota Vicentina also the artisanal fishing portinho Lapa das Pombas is a special place and this whole section offers landscapes and wonderful colors, either at sea or in land, where impressive cliffs merge with red sand, reflecting the sunlight.
